Meet Kizzy Michelle | Atlanta & Douglas County Family and Portrait Photographer
I’m Kizzy Michelle — a photographer and creative strategist who believes portraits are more than images; they’re proof of becoming and your family’s visual legacy.
I photograph women and families because every season deserves to be honored.
The changes, the growth, the rebuilding, the love — all of it. Whether it’s a woman stepping into her power or a family wanting artwork that celebrates their connection, I create images meant to be lived with, not lost in a camera roll.
Portraits should remind you who you are today and who you’re becoming tomorrow.
That’s the heart of my work as a family photographer serving Atlanta Douglas County, and beyond.
My Why
I completely understand how people feel when they say they don’t have many printed photos anymore. I’ve felt that too — deeply.
When I was growing up, my mom had those big magnetic photo albums. You’d lift the plastic sheet, place the photo down, and smooth it over with your hand. Those albums were heavy — but so was the love inside them. Every family memory lived on those pages.
The Loss That Changed How I See Family Memories
What I’ve found now, as a photographer and as an adult who lost nearly every photo from my childhood — including a box of images that somehow survived Hurricane Katrina, only to be thrown away later — is that photos deserve to be seen and protected.
They don’t belong buried in a box or trapped in a phone.
They belong in albums and on your walls — in the spaces where life actually happens. Because when the storms come — literal or emotional — what survives are the images we chose to honor.
What I Believe as a Boutique Family Photographer
I believe families deserve more than digital files that get forgotten in a phone upgrade.
They deserve printed artwork that builds identity, belonging, and legacy.
I believe women deserve portraits that reflect their strength, softness, and story — not filtered versions of themselves.
And I believe every family’s story deserves a home on their walls, not hidden in the cloud.
This is why I design a photography experience that feels intentional, supported, and rooted in legacy — for families across Atlanta, Douglas County, and surrounding communities.
Let’s Create Artwork You’ll Be Proud to Pass Down
If you’re ready to create portraits that will still matter decades from now — the kind of artwork your children may hold onto 40 years from today — I would love to help you get started.
